A couple of months back, I sent away for a free set of genome fridge magnets from the Open University<\/a>.\u00a0 Problem is, our fridge is a built-in one hiding behind solid Brazilian Rosewood<\/del> chipboard\/oak veneers; and they aren’t magnetic.<\/p>\n

One cool radiator....<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Talk about blessing in disguise.\u00a0 Now we have this fantastic genome-inspired\u00a0 central heating radiator.\u00a0 Good eh? (There’s me, then there’s Damien Hirst.)<\/p>\n

So, 22 matching pairs of chromosomes<\/a>, plus an X-Y pair (because I claim to be male; females have an X-X pair), for a total of 46.<\/p>\n

Cool radiator.\u00a0 Result.<\/p>\n
